Sprite can...

Do you see my mantel? What is on there that shouldn't be?!?!? Look closely...

Oh, yes that would be a sprite can.

I will preface this post by saying, I love my husband. He is amazing, smart, loving, my best friend ever! He drinks sprite like his life depends on it. And I'm ok with that. Really!

HOWEVER...

he places an empty sprite can on my mantel DAILY!! Yes, every morning I wake up and there is a new sprite can staring me in the face in the same spot! Sometimes 2 of them.

So, B if you are reading this? I love you, but the garbage can is in the kitchen. xoxoxox

On Father's Day, my sister in law asked each of my kids what they loved about their daddy... 

These were their answers...

Mara: "I love my dad because he is a lover, not a fighter."

William: " I love my dad because he is nice and plays legos with me."

Anna: "I love daddy because he makes me happy and he snuggles with me."

Doesn't get any better than that!

Ragnar... I'm tired...

After months of training... ummm yeah, I trained.... We finally DID it!  What an amazing experience.  I really had no idea what my body was capable of.  Eat, run, sleep, repeat.  The problem was, we didn't sleep!  Best weekend I have had with my ladies in a long time!  But man oh man am I tired and sore!

 All of us at the starting line at 6:30AM.  It was a balmy 37 degrees with crazy winds!

 We ran for the American Cancer Society!  Here is the back of my car aka.. Van 1.

 We thought we were funny!  Oh and Vicki is the 40 year old Ragnar Ho!  Love you Vic!

WE DID IT!!!! 191 miles from Logan, UT to Park City, UT!  What a ride!

I have been without a computer for 2 months!!!! It's been killing me!!  And I have so much to tell!

AN AMAZING U2 Concert!!!  Here we are waiting in line all day!  Well, Vicki was there all day!  I had an appt that morning... (more on that later!)

 Went to the cabin for Memorial Day weekend. It was heaven!  Here is a picture of the cabin on saturday afternoon.  It was about 70 degrees out.  Kids played all day....

 Here it is the next morning!  3 inches of snow and 31 degrees! BEAUTIFUL!

Pretend...

I love listening to my children play. Especially when they play pretend. 
Things like  "let's pretend we are twin sisters and don't know it! And I become famous and you become a Dr. And then we both grow up and have 10 kids each. What are we going to name them?"

Or... "I'm the mom and you're the daughter. Daughter it's time for bed sweetheart." "ok mommy."

Or... "you be princess Leia and I'll be Luke Skyealker' Come save me Luke! Jabba is here an he's trying to get me!"

I love the age where my kids are at. 7,5,3. The ages of no worries. No commitments other than the occasional music lesson or sports team. An age when school is fun and you fight with your best friend and then quickly get over it after a minute and continue to play like nothing has happened. 

The age of discovering the world and being yourself. Where the sun is always shining and it's always spring.  Where you truly believe with your whole heart that you are a beautiful princess or a Jedi knight.  I wish I could bottle it and sell it. Or perhaps just keep for myself! 

Life is good.
