UP...

We had a really cool opportunity to go through the "UP" house in Herriman, UT.  A dear friend works for the builder and he called me yesterday and asked if I wanted to bring the kiddos. UMMMM.... YES!

This house is being built for the Utah Parade of Homes and all I can say is, I WANT IT!  The inside is perhaps even more charming than the outside.  Unfortunatly, I was not allowed to take pictures of the inside except for the mantel with the darling picture of 'Paradise Falls'. But let's just say that the furniture is even from the movie, as is the darling mural in the babies room.

WE CAN'T WAIT...

Harry Potter comes out this week and these muggles are SOOOOOOOO excited!  So excited in fact that I will be seeing the movie 3 times in less than 38 hours!  Oh ya!

These picture were taken when we went to see Cars 2.  Who needs Cars 2 when you have Harry, Ron and Hermione?!  My kids are Harry Potter crazies!  They love the movies and can't wait for the new one!

Stop the clock, just for a few...

Is it just me or does time travel faster as you get older?! 

Is it really July?!  That means Christmas will be here in just 6 months and winter in about 3 1/2 months away. 2011 is half over and then we will do it all over again.  Sorry, just stating the facts.

I remember as child thinking I had time on my side.  I never thought I would make it to 12 years of age. Then came 16 and then 21. As a kid, 21 seemed ages away.  I really couldn't even fathom high school.  Big people did that.  I always remember wishing Christmas and my birthday would come faster and the summer would last longer.  The clock seemed like it would stop, while all I did was wait.  Waiting to get older and speed things up.

I  am now 34 and I can't seem to slow time down.  My kids are growing up in front of me!  My days seem to fly past and there is really nothing that I can do with it.  I only seem to have about 7 minutes a day to myself and I feel like a lot of times, I am just running around with my head cut off and saying, if only I had 'more time.'  More time to go on vacation, play with my kids, laugh and go on date nights with B, clean the house, go out with friends...  I could keep going, but you get the idea.  I want life to slow down just a bit. 

Does anyone have an answer for this?!  Mother nature is just not slowing down, so I have to figure out a way to keep up with her!
